Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
Its normal to experience discomfort in knees and other joints/muscles especially in the start of an exercise regimen. You can take it slowly by cutting down on the frequency or intensity or duration in the initial phase and gradually build up your strength. If there is slight discomfort that isn't bothersome then you should continue with the same pace and most likely these symptoms will subside in a week or so. Try to consume adequate amount of water and timely/proper meals with this routine. If the symptoms persist , you may get your knees examined by your doctor who may advise plain x rays to look for any abnormality or can advise empiric treatment including vitamin d and calcium supplementation if a deficiency is suspected. The best test in visualizing knee abnormalities is an MRI which can be advised if empiric treatments fail to resolve the issue and there is considerable hindering w.r.t exercise or mobility of one or both knees.
Wishing you best of health
Thanks
