Question : I awoke this morning with discomfort mid abdomen and this seemed to cause excessive salivation. I have since had a bowel movement, and eaten a light breakfast but the discomfort continues. Still slightly nauseated.

Brief Answer:
Try omeprazole!

Detailed Answer:
HHi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this pain and the related symptoms that you have reported. I have reviewed your symptoms and they are suggestive of a possible gastritis. I will you take omeprazole at doses recommended by your pharmacist. This usually works for most of my patients. I am pretty confident this will resolve the symptoms. Unless otherwise, there is no ned to seek immediate care at this time. If the treatment fails, then we shall review and consider such possibility at a later date.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
