I had an abortion on 10th of feb. My doctor has been amazing. I was 6 weeks into the pregnancy and an ultrsound confirmed it to be an intra uterine pregnancy.
My question is: its been almost a month but just today i felt like i feel a lil discomfort on my left lower abdomen. I wouldn't call it a pain. More like when u don't pee for long kind of discomfort.. and its sensitive to touch aswell.
What's wrong. I am in a diff city now from where i had initially got the termination hence can not return to my doc. Pls let me know if this is something of concern. Also when should i expect my periods next.
Thank you!
Can be due to an impending period.

Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Your next periods will start in a month after the abortion. The mild discomfort that you are feeling can be due to impending periods. This is a normal finding and is not worrisome.
As of now nothing to worry, in case the pain is severe or is persistent or the periods do not start in next few days then do consult your gynecologist for examination and to rule out a urinary infection.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

It's a relief to hear that this isn't urgent. I surely will go see a gynecologist if the pain worsens or persists.
As it has been an exact month, i think ill wait for my periods for a few more days. In the past they have been very consistent hence I just wanted to confirm and be on top of everything.
My doctor was patient and caring enough to answer all the questions and doubts i had about the termination, the procedure, post care and the future implications.
But incase i have any other queries i will definitely like to reach out to you. Once again thank you for taking the time out and putting me at ease.
Have a great day!
It is best to wait for the periods.
