Question: Started experiencing discomfort in middle of chest where rib cage meets. Usually start out day just fine but after eating within a couple of hours it intensifies. Drinking lots of water not able to eat much of anything without it having an effect. Just had an upper gi scope and colonoscopy with clean results.

Brief Answer:
Costochondritis or gastritis

Detailed Answer:
Dear sir, the pain in the middle area of chest could be due to :
1) costochondritis which is inflammation of the joint between your ribs and sternum. this is treated with an anti inflammatory as declofen sodium once daily and calcium supplement
2) gastritis which is inflammation of the stomach , this could have developed after you had the upper git endoscopy . this is treated with proton pump inhibitor as controloc and an antacid as ranitidine before every meal
I hope I answered your question . if you don't have any other clarifications then please close the discussion
