Question : Hello. I have discomfort in my upper abdomen on the right side. Symptoms seem to worsen of I eat, breads, pasta, and fatty foods.

Gallstones are the most probable reason.

Such symptoms are very characteristic for gallstones. The pain appears after fatty foods. It tends to radiate to the back or right shoulder. Nausea can appear.

I suggest you to have abdominal ultrasound done. If gallstones are confirmed, laparoscopuc surgery should be scheduled.
