Hi XXXXXXX
sorry for the delay with pictures. new pc email not synced, anyway it settled slightly when I was on break but has become uncomfortable again, I hope you can make sense of the pictures. I am washing with an aloe vera product with soothes and get me though but its hanging about. I did get some cotosone 4% again but this isn't doing much good. putting barrier cream on before work and it seems to reduce the itch during the day but no effect on the rash, the part on my waist I like little pimples without the heads, like to see what you think.

Brief Answer:
Looks like a steroid modified fungal infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

Sorry for the delay in replying.

I have seen the attached pictures .
You seem to have developed a fungal infection over the area called tinea.
Application of cortisone which is a steroid over the affected area seems to have modified its appearance .
You should stop applying cortisone or moisturisers over it now .
Topical steroids suppress the infection got sometime but do not heal them ,so once you stop their application, the infection tends to come up and flare again .
You need to apply a topical antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream over the affected areas twice daily.
Use it regularly for atleast two weeks .
Wear cotton clothes so as to decrease further sweating and infection .
I am sure this will help .

Brief Answer:
Need some good quality images

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

As I can see in the pictures, the rash is increasing but the sad thing is that the pictures are not very clear ,so I am not really able to make out the exact cause of the rash . Better resolution close up images would probably be more helpful .
In my opinion ,you should either try to click some better images or see a nea by doctor soon for a closer examination.
For the time being, take some oral antihistamines like cetrizine or Benadryl to bring down the allergic process .
Apply some soothing agent like calamine lotion over the affected areas twice daily .
Avoid application of irritants like dettol and avoid rubbing.

I am sure this will be of some help to you.

Hi XXXXXXX
I got some clotrimazole antin fungal and some loratadine antihistamine.
good application las night and some tabs good night sleep.
applied another tonight and looks okay. the rash is sweating a little after application so I leave the shirt off. sent some pics again, one of the worst raised rashed and a spotty one from the arm.
the application has made it a little tingly, Hi XXXXXXX were the extra pictures much good, the worst one, it is like that all in big spots all over my back, and a spot on the back of the thigh. really hardening skin. Feel like elephant man.

well its spread like crazy I am washing pillow cases and sheets and towel. it is drying out during the day and peeling. The flakes accumulate around my waist and its got pretty bad there too. after washing and shower, its seems to weep from the worst spots on my back and hip. I continue to used to cortrimazole and nearly a full tube now to treat all the spots, there,s a funny ring around the hole of the back of my left knee. I thionk i sent a picture
It does weep at the worst spots during the day to the point I am showering with my T shirt on for a while until it lets go . should it get really bad like this as it gets better. ? 2 days before I can get into town, and I will try to shower off in the morning and change shirts and reapply. some spots are getting flatten and are not as pronounced as others. all over the body now so I think I am spreading in in bed and with the towels, i am using one for the head and face, one torsoe and one for legs. its even lightly blemishing along me chin now, i think rubbed my neck and then my face.. Will normal warm machine wash kill this. sorry for the length of my email,, crazy itchy as the day go's on and it dry's out, do you think I should target a dermetologist in person when I get to Perth for this or and GP,,

Brief Answer:
Need to confirm diagnosis ,see a dermatologist

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

The kind of rash you are developing couple either be pityriasis rosea or a generalised eczematous rash .Since the picture quality is not that great ,it would be useful if you can google these condition and check out images over net to compare with your problem .
In either case ,application of moisturisers will help . For confirmation of diagnosis ,you might have to see a dermatologist as soon as possible. Wear cotton clothes and avoid rubbing the affected areas .
Continue to take antihistamines.

The picture before where you can see me in the mirror V back, is what its like on 3 spots, very proud and scaly especially on the shoulder blade area and on a contact spot where the back of my leg rubs the chair.. The other pic is about what it started like a couple of weeks ago. from the neck then down the back.

Brief Answer:
Not contagious

Detailed Answer:
hi again

I have seen the attached pictures .
The rash looks like pityriasis rosea to me.
It is not a contagious skin condition, infact it is a self limiting type of skin rash .It may take six to eight weeks for complete cure.
It simply requires application of topical steroids or moisturisers.
For confirmation of the diagnosis, see your local doctor as soon as possible.
