                                    Brief Answer:
Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. These are symptoms of GERD (Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease).
2. Get a prescription for acid reflux for 8 to 12 weeks. Strict diet control is mandatory.
3. If there is no relief, get an abdominal ultrasound to rule out a hiatal (sliding) hernia.
4. A Gastrolenterologists' opinion will be required. An endoscopy and esophageal manometry with pH studies are also sometimes advised to check for abnormalities in the food pipe and stomach which may be affecting reflux, motility and delayed gastric emptying.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any follow up queries, I will be available to answer them.
Regards.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for writing back.
1. Yes, this is related to your eating problems. This excessive sleepiness and fatigue will improve after successful treatment.
2. Get a Glucose Tolerance Test (GTT) done. If this test shows abnormal fluctuations of blood sugar levels, diet control and exercise will regulate the symptoms. Frequent small meals low in carbohydrate will help.
3. A type of bacterial infection known as H.pylori needs to be ruled out. Get your Thyroid Function Tests done. Natural enzyme deficiencies are a possible cause, however they are likely to be accompanied by other gut symptoms such as diarrhea, bloating and so on. Anxiety can cause such symptoms even with a normal GTT.
4. A Gastroenterologist's opinion is an important step for you right now.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any follow up queries, I will be available to answer them.
Regards.
