What Causes Dissociative Fugue State Before A Heart Attack?

Question: For Dr.Seikhoo Bishnoi. This is XXXXXXX again. Hi. I don't even remember contacting you the last time..I was supposedly taken by ambulance to the hospital on the 22nd of August but then how could I have emailed you? I was taking pills but my son called the ambulance the several days before this question came up. I think I was in a dissociative fugue state. I ended up in the hospital again and then had a heart attack a mild one but one nonetheless. My DID trauma parts were really in pain I guess.I was intubated and couldn't communicate with the doctor to tell him that I couldn't breathe..I missed my flight to Israel but we could go again once my health is back on track. I have(finally) accepted that this is what is going on with XXXXXXX and to leave thing where they are. Would you say that DID trauma could cause me to act the way I did? I have a lot of peace and acceptance now and am focusing on just finding a place to live here in the U.S for awhile and wait and see what is going to happen with the thing with XXXXXXX .

Brief Answer:
DID might cause amnesia to events sometimes.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again

I was concerned about your health because the conversations we had on 23rd to 25th August were different. I assumed about your bad health as the questions were not clear. Any way you are out of hospital and are healthy now, so that is a good thing.

You have probably taken high doses of medicines and this caused the dissociative like state. Most likely the period of amnesia is preventing you to remember that period. Yes DID trauma and over medications can result in acting in this way. Still no need to worry, the hospital stay has improved your mood.

You missed the flight to Israel that is a thing to worry. Try to get the rescheduled tickets and visit there once for your relaxation. This is good that you have accepted the Michael's illness. Try to remain happy, love your life. You are a nice person and you should live a good life.

Thanks.

We are trying to get our ticket money refunded so that we can live in Israel. I was confused because the ambulance was called on the 22nd and I know that they would not have just let me come home. I have resigned myself to the fact that I might never see XXXXXXX again as he is so sick..so be it I guess. Could all the stress have caused the fluid to back up in my lungs? My heart was only beating at 45% but there were no blockages and they were able to get the fluid out of my lungs for now so I have to wait until I feel better to go to Israel.

Do you think XXXXXXX will ever get better? If he still cares, even if he is pyschotic, how can he go so long without wanting to see me? Apparently the only person who has his phone number is his step son, his store lady and his lawyer..

I hope I can get my tickets refunded and then once I can feel better physically we will just go there to live..I cannot afford to go just for a visit.

Brief Answer:
Wait for refund of tickets

Detailed Answer:
Hello again

Yes the when the money is refunded then you will have good money to spend there. Stress doesn't affect much on lungs, but excessive stress precipitates heart attack and this could result in filling of lungs with fluid.
XXXXXXX is very ill and is having psychotic illness. That illness can't improve with medicines. He has no caregivers so his improvement is really very difficult. Its very difficult that without treatment he would become normal as he was before.

Thanks.

Do you think that somewhere down deep he still might care about me? Even if the injunction is dropped unless he is court ordered to be evaluated there is little hope that he will ever come back right? Maybe if we are gone long enough and in a few years i might find out what has happened to him? It is hard to let go but i don't see any other choice for now..

Brief Answer:
He might care about you.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again

Yes on the basis of our old conversations about XXXXXXX in my opinion he might care about you. But that is of no use, because since a long time he is having strong delusions and he is in psychosis. He has distanced himself from any form of social life. This is a bitter reality that he is not in his sane mind and recovery is really very very difficult.

In one case if injunction is dropped and court orders for evaluation then things should change. So try to remain relaxed, keep yourself busy.

Thanks.
