Question : My dog came down with vestibular disease. A couple days later I got dizziness and very slight ringing in ear. Could I have got an inner ear virus same as the dog?

It is better but still dizzy after 13 days - It started New Years day.

Brief Answer:
Yes could be a possible common source of infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam.

Yes certainly there is a possibility of common source of infection shared between the dog and yourself.

This could have lead to inner ear infection-Vestibular neuritis possibly leading to dizziness.

This can be controlled with the help of drugs like Vertin 8mg once day for 1 week.

This drug has to be taken under strict medical prescription.
