Question : Yes, I was a little dizzy and then had a funny taste in my mouth. It was a little sweet tasting kind under the tongue. Symptoms gone in a minute or two. What could this be?

Based on your description, it could have been related to altered blood flow to the brain and concerned deep structures/ nuclei related to taste resulting in altered sensations transmitted. As the recovery was swift after the initial dizzy spell so no intervention is necessary at the moment. Get your blood pressure and blood sugar checked to look for a low or high blood pressure and low blood sugar as a possible cause.
