Brief Answer:
It happens with gabapentin

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns.

Symptoms that you have mentioned doesn't have anything to do with any doubts about this combination and is usual part of prescription involving skeletal or nerve pains. Only problem being that gaba pentins does lead to increased somnolence (sleep) with dizziness and vertigo often with or without mild heaviness or pain type sensations in head. If it is effectively helping you to decrease pain, you can continue it with monitoring for one or two days as with gradual use tolerability will be better with lesser side effects, but if you feel not being able to tackle it at all and isnt helping with the pains or doing nore harm than betterment to your routine then, consider switching to fluoxetines alongwith analgesics like acetaminophen or ibuprofen.

Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.

While I appreciate your answer, it seems a bit confusing here. I guess I am reading that gabapentin can cause the dizziness and vertigo alone. Since I was already taking it for pain with moderate success (for a lot less pain than dental surgery type), I guess I can probably deduce that the two together were a bad combo. Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Yes you can use acetaminophen but stop gabapentin if intolerable

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Thanks for you appreciation. In simple words you can continue acetaminophen and replace gaba pentins with fluoxetine, if it's side effects are getting intolerable for you. Regards.
