Question : are there any things to watch out for, dizziness, nausea, etc. when changing prescriptions from losartan potassium to candesartan cilexetil?
Brief Answer:
None!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
There is nothing to watch out for during this transition. They are essential the same class and work exactly in the same way. I find it difficult to understand the reasons for the change, please kindly share the reasons with me.
However, they are same and nothing to be worried about.
Thanks

The change was requested by me due to improved ins. along with certain conditions/side effects I am experiencing with losartan. I was taking candesartan before and do not recall any side effects/problems, until my ins. status changed and it was not covered.
Brief Answer:
I get it now!
