Question : I'm taking 25mg of hydrochlorothiazide for high blood pressure every morning. Recently I tried taking tramadol for back pain and after a wakeful, sweaty night, got up, took my blood pressure pill, started to eat breakfast, got dizzy and vomited. Then I felt better, I didn't take any more tramadol but the next day experienced nausea arount the same time of day (noon) - ate lunch and felt better.
Could the hydrochlorothiazide caused the dizzy/nausea? Or the tramadol, even after I stopped taking it?

Brief Answer:
Side effects of tramadol

Detailed Answer:
Dear Mrs,
Dizziness and nausea can be side effects of tramadol, they can last for a day or a little long. I would advise you not to take any other pain killer for the next two days if it is possible. Try to avoid heavy foods.

Wish you good health
