Brief Answer:
CT scan has absolutely no such side effects.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir.

I understand your query and concern.

Your mentioned symptoms are absolutely not related to the post effects of CT scan or MRI scan. So please do not be worried of this.

The symptoms of dizziness or weird feelings in the head are related to the internal anxiety and stress.

Drugs like SSRI's(selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) ex-Escitalopram 5-10 mg /day and Anxiolytics like Clonazepam 0.5-1 mg /day for 6-12 months will help to effectively control your symptoms.

Please note all the mentioned drugs have to be taken only under your doctor's medical prescription.

Hydrate yourself adequately with 3-4 liters of water a day.

I hope i have answered your query at the moment.

Post your further queries ,if any.
Thank you.

i read that 2-3 ct scans triples the chances of developing tumor in people above 15. the symptoms which concern me is slurred speech specially while reading something. i had anxiety regarding head even before the cts but it never caused me slurryness. yesterday before going to sleep i closed my eyes was hardly into sleep or was in beginning phase of sleeping process suddenly i tried to move fingers of right hand but couldnt, suddenly i moved them with a jerk which jolted me awake. i got frightened was it a seizure, today in afternoon i slept while sitting for a few minutes after i woke up i found my tongue was under my teeth i got afraid for it being a seizure. my friend was beside me i asked him if i performed any movements he said i was just sleeping. i am really afraid sometimes i feel sudden vertigo which lasts for few seconds and often feel head rushes or electric shock like feeling in head which lasts a second. please could it be something serious?

Brief Answer:
Seizure disorder unlikely at the moment.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir,

Welcome again,

The risk of developing tumors after 3 CT scans is marginally very very low.
So please do not over read into this issue by referring various articles and websites.

Once again i would like to stress that the symptoms you mentioned again are related to GAD, and not seizure disorder.

For satisfied confirmation i advise you to have a EEG (Electroencephalography) during the episode of slurred speech and jitteriness/teeth grinding as this will clarify most of our doubts on the issue pertained.

I once again recommend you to start taking your prescribed medications as soon as possible to improve your current condition rapidly and effectively.

I hope i have answered your query at the moment,
