Question : My wife has dementia and lately has been complaining about strange feelings in her head. It is not a headache but more like a throbbing feeling and dizziness. Is this from the dementia

Dementia is of different types. In some kind of vascular dementia apart from memory problems other symptoms are there. Feeling of dizziness and throbbing feelings are likely due to some vascular problem in brain or fluctuation in blood pressure. To diagnose the cause proper neurological examination and if needed MRI brain scan are required.

Better to consult neurologist or her treating doctor for examination.
