Question : I fell dizzy and weak, I am a diabetic with high BP 160/60. Taking Doxazosin 4 mg & Candesartan Cilexetil 32 mg. I suspect the reasons are the side effects of the medication mentioned ?
These symptoms I have suffered for a very long time, I have tried to explain to my GP but she has not changed the medication maybe considering my Kidney function is about 40.
Have you any suggestions?

Feeling dizzy and weak is a side effect of both medications you are taking Doxazosin and Candersartan.
Now, if I was your caring doctor would analyze further your case to find out the real cause (as there are many other factors contributing to feeling dizzy and weak). That's why I want to know about:
- your electrolytes levels?
- your thyroid function?
- your liver/kidney/pancreas function?
- if you are having problems with enlarged prostate?
- if you have been diagnosed with anemia?
- do you sweat a lot?
- is it hot at the place you live?
- are you involved in physical activities or conduct a sedentary life?
All these factors can cause dizziness and weakness apart the 2 medications you are taking.
