Question: Yes., I am Insulin dependent diabetic dizzy, fatigue, nausea, dry mouth, vominting in the last hour, muscle aches, blurred vision when standing up from seating, eat oyster for entrée for dinner around 6.45 tonight, could I have food posioning.

It could be food poisoning. Gastro enteritis is known with oyster and tends to recover on its own in a couple of days. However since you have mentioned you are on insulin it could be uncontrolled blood sugar (low or high) as well.

Here is how you should go about it

1. If you have a glucometer at home please get your sugar values tested and let me know the value in the follow up query
2. For the vomiting I recommend Tab Omerprazole with domperidone to be taken right away. Do not consume any food if you are persistantly vomiting
3. Seek help from GP as soon as possible
4.Do not gulp down water, take it sip by sip
