What Causes Dizziness In An Elderly Person?

Question: I am a 73 year old female. no real health issues..cholesteral high, normal blood pressure. take prevastasin and zoloft 50 mg. Ate breakfast, walked 1/2 mile to playgroup with 2 year old . Felt a little off balance/dizzy. noon had glass milk yogurt apple with strong cup of coffee with milk. What could that be?

Hello, Thank you for posting your question on Health Care Magic.
By your history and the symptoms the dizziness could be anything ranging from simple weakness to something major
Since you are dyslipidaemic and around 70 years old it is definitely better to investigate further.
I would suggest a CT brain initially and if it is normal just improvise your general health.
Since you recently had a general check up possibilities of blood pressure fluctuations have been ruled out.
Please revert back with CT brain report.
