Hello Sir,

After going through the medical details provided by you I can very much understand your concern for your wife's health. First of all, I would like to suggest you to check your wife's blood pressure regularly as the symptoms which she is experiencing could be due to her low BP.

Also her blood pressure needs to be checked in sitting and standing position to see if she is having any postural hypotension (a sudden positional drop of blood pressure).

If you detect that she is actually having low blood pressure then her blood pressure meds needs to be adjusted for dosage.

Also some blood tests need a to be done like kidney function test and blood sugars tests.

I hope this information will be helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards
Dr. Bhanu Partap

Detailed Answer:
Oh I see, yes some cardiac meds do increase the potassium levels in the body, for your information potassium levels beyond 5.5 is not good and increases the arrhythmogenic potential (chances of irregular heart rhythm ) and very high level of potassium can be dangerous also.

So this needs to be corrected and meds to be adjusted accordingly.

Kind Regards
Dr. Bhanu Partap
