Question: I have been prescribed LIOTHYRONINE 5mcg 2X's a day along with, LEVOTHYROXIN 25 mcg, and Iodinie for hypothyroid. I take these meds one half hour before any food, coffee etc. Lately I have been having a lot of dizziness, nausea, headaches and more fatigue. I understand I am on low doses. Brief Answer:
Check the hormonal level.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking on HCM!
I read carefully your concern.
To rule out an over or under dosage of thyroid hormones, you have to check;
-TSH
-Ft4
-Ft3
If they result to be within the normal ranges than the dose is correct and the symptoms you reported are not due to thyroid hormones. A careful clinical examination is needed.
Otherwise the dose should be corrected.
Hope the information will help.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
