What Causes Dizziness?

Question: Last Saturday after a workout, I began to get dizzy. It lasted about 30 minutes when I thought I was going to pass out? But then it went away. Then this morning, I got up at 7:45 with no dizziness, but at 8:30 I got a little dizzy which lasted most of the morning until 11 AM, but never got severe. There was no spinning, no motion, just lightheadedness. I think it was more psychogenic because my blood pressure was fine and I do not have epilepsy. I was laid off from 90 days ago and have worked very hard making between 100 too 200 applications for various positions. Would be the treatment to counter the stress and anxiety?XXXX
Brief Answer:
Following investigations are needed...
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Although your bp was ok, I advise to run the following tests :
- ECG and Doppler ultrasound of blood vessels located in the neck to exclude cardiac issues
- audiogram and ENT consultation to rule out inner ear problems
- neurological examination
Depending on the tests results, specific treatment will be prescribed.
For the moment, I advise to:
- avoid quick movements of the neck or body
- drink more water
- avoid high-intensity physical activities
Hope it helped!
