Brief Answer:
Needs further evaluation to detect the exact cause.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

1) Dizziness could be due to variety of causes or it could be transient.

Perhaps if the dizziness is not troubling your day to day work, then you may wait for few days. Until then you may take proper hydration and electrolyte balance with some symptomatic antihistamines treatment like betahistidine.

However if the problem is persistent, you should see a doctor at the earliest and get evaluated further.

I will suggest you undergo routine blood count, ESR, blood electrolytes, tests for vestibular (balance) system like electronystagmography or rotation tests to diagnose the cause for dizziness.

2) Numbness of the lips and tongue could be due to variety of causes like

(i) infection- any infection within the mouth and lips can cause inflammation and affect nerve function

(ii) vitamin deficiency particularly vitamin b12 and folic acid

(iii) compression of any or both of these nerves by a mass

(iv) dental procedures or any type of trauma

(v) stroke although uncommon, but should be ruled out first and also because of your age.

Or idopathic which means that the cause is not known In some persons the abnormal sensations are temporary.

If the dizziness along with numbness of lips and tongue continue or worsen then I would advise you to see your physician for assessment.

This would include a complete history and thoroughly clinical examination like temperature, pulse, blood pressure which would enable us to arrive a diagnosis

In addition blood tests (to check vitamin levels and to rule out infection),liver or kidney function tests may be suggested.

Hope this detailed information will help you.
