                                    Brief Answer:
Can be due to premature closure of sutures
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
Dolichocephaly can be due to various causes like premature closure of the cranial sutures, pressure on the skull or breech position.
Generally, if it is due to premature closure of sutures, it can be corrected only after delivery, and the IQ of the baby is not affected.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Depends on the cause

Hi,
If due to pressure, then it will be corrected on its own after the delivery. If due to Premature closure of sutures, then surgery may be required after birth, depending upon the cause and severity of the condition.

And report says head is normal. I am so concerned coz I have conceived after 4+ yrs of struggle. Kindly help. Thanks in advance.

                                    Brief Answer:
Unlikely to find the cause
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Breech position can be a cause of dolichocephaly.
It is unlikely to find the cause of dolichocephaly prior to delivery. You should consult a fetal medicine specialist for proper counseling.
Hope I have answered your query.
Take care
