Question : is it normal for a women to have 2 streams while peeing?
Brief Answer:
No, its not normal
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
No, it is not normal for a double stream urine to occur in both males and females. Initial starting of urination can cause a second or two of double stream urine but it should mainly be a single stream through out the voiding that follows.
Urethral strictures, polyps , meatal stenosis, cysts of skene's glands in urethra include some of the causes that may lead to such a presentation. UTIs and urinary tract stones can also be the cause by chronically scarring the lower urinary tract. Please consult a qualified Urologist for clinical assessment and further management.
