I can understand your concern. Xanax is a benzodiapine drug and is commonly used in sedation, anxiety and a number of other psychiatric condition. Abrupt stoppage of use after regular prolonged intake is known to result in withdrawal symptoms. So doses are reduced gradually to prevent withdrawal.

So in my opinion you should keep the drug in reserve to prevent any anxiety you develop. Take the drug on PRN basis to prevent withdrawal. Continue to take Latuda and Clozapine as per your prescription.

In my opinion dose of Clonazepam 2 mg per day is not a low dose and in a person who has never taken benzodiazepines before the dose was high dose. You have taken the drug for one month and to prevent withdrawal symptoms they have advised you to take the half dose on PRN basis for some time. High dose to begin with is the one reason for advise that you should take drug on PRN basis.

Slurred speech, dizziness, clumsiness and hangover like symptoms etc can occur with Xanax in high doses.
