Question : my daughter 5 yrs old is having dry cough ..she is coughing heavily..

Dry cough can occur in viral infection, or upper respiratory tract infection.

Start a cough syrup like chericof 5 ml three times a day for 3 days. If there is no improvement in 24 hours then probably antibiotics will be required.
