What Causes Dry Mouth And Throat?

Anxiety, panic attack likely
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
The blood pressure change is not abnormal. BP does not remain constant and changes with time. The reading is not low enough to indicate hypotension. Dry mouth and throat can be due to a number of reasons. In addition to the anxiety that you are experiencing, it can be related to a panic attack. If you are worried you may go to an ER near you to rule out any serious cause. A general physical exam including throat examination, BP, pulse and temperature measurements can be done. A neurological exam can be done to look for possible focal deficit. An EKG can be advised to rule out possible cardiac cause. If these screens are negative then low dose propranolol can be advised provided you are not asthmatic to counter the sympathetic symptoms associated with anxiety. Blood sugar should also be measured, preferably two fasting blood sugar reading, two weeks apart.
Wishing you best of health
Thanks

Hello again madam.
If you have no alarm symptoms then that can be an option. Kindly answer the following to have a better idea.
Do you have any chest pain that started suddenly.
Do you have any fever or shortness of breath.
Do you have any weakness in either upper or lower limbs.
Do you feel your heart racing. can you measure your pulse in one minute and let me know your average pulse.
Thanks.

Most welcome
Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
You are most welcome
Well, then there is no need to worry. Take slow deep breaths. If possible, listen to a soothing audio tape of Eckhart tolle or sleep tapes by XXXXXXX Bridges. I recommend both to my patients who have trouble with anxiety or panic attacks. It works very well with good outcomes.
Best of luck and have a sound night's sleep.
Thanks.
