                                    Brief Answer:
Moderately potent steroid and a good moisturising cream
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
If I was his treating doctor I would recommend him to apply a moderately potent steroid like mometasone cream or clobetasol propionate cream on the affected areas twice daily for 5-7 days along with frequent and liberal application of a moisturising cream containing white soft paraffin and light liquid paraffin on the entire nose.
Steroidal preparations are prescription drugs and he needs to consult a doctor to get them.
Besides this ask him to avoid soaps, use a soap free cleanser, avoid cosmetics, excessive sun exposure and cold dry winds.
Regards
Dr Asmeet
