Question : My boyfriend of 4 years who is not circumcised has been experiencing dryness and irritation around the end of the unerect foreskin on his penis. It appears like really dry skin. It is uncomfortable when he gets an erection, but fine until after intercourse, then he experiences soreness and irritation again for about 2 weeks. He has tried cortisone creams, vasoline, and olive oil to keep the dry area soft, but no luck. This has been a problem for over a year now. Any idea's?

Such problem is even seen in fungal infections.
I usually prescribe ointment clotrimazole in such cases and have seen good response with that.
He can try this.
