Question : The foreskin on my penis has become too dry and when I try to pull it down, the skin breaks and bleeds

The skin use to go back normal but for past weeks i have been having this issue.
I m diabetic type 2.

Dr. i have mailed u the pics for reference.
sugar levels were uncontrolled but now i am on medication Citapin XR 1000.
i was prescribed syscon 150 antifungal medicine for treatment of balanitis but now i am having the phimosis issue of non retractable skin.

please advice as this is the last follow up.

Management of candidal balanoposthitis

Detailed Answer:
I have reviewed the attached photographs and you seem to having candidal balanoposthitis which is yeast infection of the glans and prepuce occuring commonly in diabetics.
I would recommend you go for warm saline washes of the affected area 2-3 times in a day, keep the area dry and apply sertaconazole cream on the affected areas twice daily for 2 weeks.
Also take antifungal capsule like capsule itraconazole 400 mg single dose stat.
Besides this go for strict control of blood sugar levels.
These are prescription drugs and should be taken under the supervision of the doctor.
