Question : I have type 2 diabetes ,a slight thyroid problem, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. Recently I had a motility test to determine if the doctor could fix a large hernia. he told me that my esophagus is not functioning except at the bottom. My question is what could have caused this. Can I prevent the rest from failing?

This finding is caused by dysfunction of esophageal muscle which should be related to;
- Gastric hernia
- Diabetic neuropathy
- Thyroid dysfunction

In order to assist further with my advice I would like to have your test results (manometry, biochemical and hormonal tests). Can you please upload all these datas for me?
