What Causes Elevated GGT Level?

Question: i just took a life ins policy physical, abnormal findings were GGT 75, urine creatine 406.1, cholesterol 253, and ldl were 181. all other findings were wnl. I am 5' 10" and wt is 210lbs. I am fairly active, and do drink socially(last drink 2-3weeks prior to test). Just wondering how to lower these findings and what could be most probable cause? thnx in advance.

I understand your concern.
The elevated GGT is due to alcohol . Avoid alcohol to normalize it. Total Cholesterol and LDL can be lowered to some extent by reducing the fat in the food and exercise. If it is not successful, you would require to take medicine for the same.
If your Serum( blood ) creatinine is normal, then urine creatinine doesn't matter. To be absolutely sure, creatinine clearance can be done.
