It is probably infection of Prostate or rare chance of cancer
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Elevated PSA levels occur in cases of Prostate cancer and Prostate infection.
Firstly, the level is important. If it is between 4 and 40 then it is likely infection and if it is higher then Cancer is more likely.
For that, I would need to know the PSA level.
Also helpful would be to know why the Proctectomy was done and what problems are you facing presently. Is there any burning in urine or blood in urine or semen?
Do let me know the above details so I can guide you further.
Do not worry.
Proper treatment can be initiated once the correct diagnosis is reached.
I wish you good health.
Do let me know as I would be waiting to hear from you,
Take care,
