HI
Greetings from Dr.Divakara.P
Thanks for posting your query in Healthcaremagic.
There are many causes for elevated SGPT. For example Alcohol Intake , Infections of the liver , Drug induced etc . First we need to find what is the cause and then correct it . Your SGPT level will go back to normal then .
So I need to know whether you has any illness recently?
Have you been taking alcohol ?
Have you been taking any medicines or drugs ?
Also kindly post the whole Liver function test report.
Will be looking for your reply.
Regards.

                                    Brief Answer:
Its due to oxcarbazipine.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the follow up.
Elevated SGPT is one of the side effect of Oxcarbamazapine. Since the elevation is mild there is no need to do anything right now.
Just avoid alcohol ( if you are taking ) and repeat test after 2 months again. If SGPT is increasing then you need to consult your neurologist to give alternative medication to oxcarbazapine.
Hope this information was useful to you.
Regards.
