Question : Hi Dr,
I got my regular check a few months back and the report showed that I had bilirubin a little on the higher side. And taking this into note I visited a physician and he suggested I get it tested again and this time the values reduced and he gave me some medication for it to reduce. but after a month I got it tested again and the value shot up. so I referred another Dr and he gave me some medication's and after a month I got it tested and the values reduced. I am unable to figure out why this fluctuations in the value. Is there any problem?

Brief Answer:
Indirect hyperbilirubinemia in initial reports suggests Gilberts syndrome.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
In initial reports, it looks like Gilberts syndrome, but one blood report shows raised enzymes too, So you need to be evaluated for Anti-HCV too.
Just repeat LFT after 3 months if still persisting raised enzymes, then you need get work up for Wilsons disease and other autoimmune conditions.
Thank you
