Question : I recently had blood work done and my platelets are at 622. My mchc was 36.7 and my Myelocytes was at 1. I also have a slightly enlarged lymphnode in my left side of my neck. I am going to see a hematologist at the end of the month. What do you think?
Brief Answer:
Possibly infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Looking at the reports and query, my opinion is as follows:
1. Platelet count is mildly increased along with normal MCHC and 1% myelocytes.
2. Along with single lymphnode enlargement without any other symptoms, I would think of an infection.
3. Unless you have a enlarged spleen along with increased WBC counts, all these findings only signify infection.
If you can attach whole report, i can help you more.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
