Question : Left Vas deferense is very much enlarged. I have had it since adolescence, but it was slowly growing and now it is almost as large as my testicle. It looks like a bundle of thread. Three years ago they did ultrasound and told me that it is not cancer and did nothing since. Should I do anything? It seems to me that it is causing uncomfortable feeling in my left groin and belly.

Hi
Thank you for posting in health care magic.
I would like to see your Ultrasound report.please send it as attachment. I would like to know the nature of Testis.
Vas becoming thicker and reaching the size of the testis is very rare.
Veins of the scrotum can get dilated, tortuous and get enlarged and look like a swelling. They are felt as bag of worms. It is Varicocele and is more common on left side. It can be operated easily
Beaded Vas is seen in Tuberculosis.
Please send your Ultrasound report and I will clarify further.
Wish you good health

Dear doctor,
thanks for your reply. I have described it wrongly. It is exactly what you mentioned, namely as
>>> They are felt as bag of worms. It is Varicocele and is more common on left side.
I'll send you the ultrasound report soon.
Regards, XXXXXXX
