What Causes Enlarged Lymphde Nodes Under The Chin?

default
Posted on Sat, 8 Oct 2016
Question: I had a deep dental cleaning about 5 days ago and just now happened to notice a pea size enlarged lymph node under my chin. Is this normal after a cleaning? I hadn't had a cleaning in several years so there was a lot of buildup.

Brief Answer:
No worries, supportive care

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern . Dental cleaning after a long time followed by some swollen lymp node in chin is normal antiinflammatory response and nothing to worry about. I would suggest some salt water gargles, some advil and rest. In a couple of days every thing will be back to normal. So ar so good. Keep good oral hygiene, use flouride toothpast after every meal for brushing teeth and hope for the best.

I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
