Question : Hello - I have enlarged testicles which have occurred with the past few months. No Pain unless squeezed
during some movements. Is it cancer?
during some movements. Is it cancer?
Brief Answer:
Unlikely to be so
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
Testicular cancer is extremely rare at the age of 83. It can be testicular lymphoma, a type of lymph gland cancer which can occur in testis. But this is itself a rare diagnosis.
I would first consider benign conditions before thinking of cancer. This includes Sebaceous cyst, Epididymal cyst, Sperm granuloma, Hydrocele and Varicocele.
Easiest would be to get hold of an urologist or surgeon and get an ultrasound of scrotum done. That would clear all doubts.
Hope this helps.
