Question : Hi. We are trying for baby. Whenever the right time comes ,i.e. around ovulation- my husband is unable to perform intercourse, due to lack of erection. He tries really hard, but complete erection does not occur. I am really worried, as the fertile window gets missed due to this. He says he is only able to perform after 3-4 days of anstinence. Please suggest what could be the reason for this and what should we do rectify this problem? my husband's age is 31 years.

Brief Answer:
Stop counting days from ovulation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, i feel , you should try to relax each time at intercourse.
Increase the time of foreplay, and not count the days from ovulation.
Otherwise the erections can be affected and cause the symptoms you describe.
After an examination by an urologist, if there's no other problem, he could even use a Tadalafil tablet with arousal, and it'll help in performing sex.
He shouldn't be taking any cardiac treatment.
Hope the problem is over and wish you both good health.
