                                            Question : What would cause my esaphagus to swell up at the larynx and not allow food or liquid to pass?  I have acid reflux/ Xrays showed no signs of cancer
                            
                                    Hello, Welcome to HCM. Please avoid stress in life. Drink less tea and coffee. Do regular exercise daily. Pantoprazol is good drug taken just before half hour of food. Take yogurt, ice cream ,milk, butter milk etc. Avoid spicy and oily diet. Take very light diet in dinner. Take fresh fruits and juices more.
