Brief Answer:
Symptoms likley to be due to Procto-colitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Ms

Going by description of your symptoms of presence of mucous and change in stool pattern it is likely to be due to Procto-Colitis( inflammation of rectum and colon) .
Any individual presenting with such large amount of mucous in stool aged more than 40 years , requires assessment by Colonoscopy.

I would suggest you to consult gastro-enterologist for further evaluation .

In the meantime I would suggest you the following

1. Ensure intake of large amount of fluids

2. Consume diet high in fiber

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance , will be glad to assist you

Wishing you and your family a very happy and healthy life

Take Care

Best Regards
