Question: Hi, I get sweating every now and then, without much pressure work or hard work also. To me it seems unusual, please suggest. Thanks, XXXXX

Brief Answer: It may or may not be normal... Detailed Answer: Hi, Perspiration is under influence of autonomic nervous system and hormonal factors. Changes in both these factors can lead to increased sweating. These changes that occur may or may not be normal. If it's occurring very frequently, you need to visit a doctor who can check for those neurological systems, check your hormones especially the thyroid and cortisol hormones and other mental factors. A proper treatment if at all necessary is determined based on the test results. A physician or an endocrinologist are the best person to approach in this situation.
