Brief Answer:
dietary changes

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
There is a medication called simethicone that works for some patients to relieve gas when they have it, so you could give that a try. I see that you have already tried Align and that is a very good type of probiotic. If that did not help you then I think you may need to try some dietary modifications. First there are two foods that can cause a lot of burping and gas. Those are dairy and gluten. Dairy is easier to eliminate than gluten so try that first. Gluten is in all wheat products and so is somewhat difficult to completely eliminate. The next thing to try is to eliminate all foods that can cause inflammatory reactions. Those include dairy, red meat, shellfish, tomatoes, potatoes and eggplant.
If none of this works there are tests that doctors can order for you to test for food intolerances. These are called IgG food intolerance tests. They can be done in panels testing up to 150 foods from a blood test. The idea is that some of us have an intolerance to certain foods and if you can determine what those foods are then you can eliminate them from your diet and feel much better.
Good luck to you and I hope you can solve this problem.
