Brief Answer:
More details required

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Healthcaremagic. You probably got the date wrong while writing. Anyway! I would like to know a few things first.
1. When did such crying during feeds start?
2. Any blue spells during crying? Does the child gasp for breath?
3. Does the crying occur even when the child is not feeding?
4. What food items are you currently giving to the child?
5. How are the bowel habits?
6. What was the birth weight and what is the current weight?

Please get back with the details and I will try to help you out. Try giving decolic drops to the child and see if the child gets relief. It might be worthwhile to get the child examined by a pediatrician to be sure that nothing is wrong. It is difficult to comment without examining whether the child is simply a fussy eater or whether he is having some problems and hence crying.

Brief Answer:
Gastroesophageal reflux. Problem with consistency.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. I have gone through the details. Since the weight gain is more or less proper and since the child is otherwise well, I would not think of any major underlying pathology. Since you mention that the child starts crying as soon as you put him on the lap, it is possible that the child is having gastroesophageal reflux. Burp the child after each feed. Be sure to hold the child in upright position for about 20 mins after each feed. Also try to keep the head end raised while you make the child lie down after feed.
Furthermore, the child cries during intake of semi solids but not with milk. So the consistency could be a factor. Try diluting it and see if the problem resolves. Also try other food items and see if there is a difference. You may boil rice together with pulses and vegetables and mash it up and give it.
