What Causes Excessive Ear Wax Build Up?
Question: Hi,
My daughter is 3 years old. Yesterday evening when she cam back from school, her left ear had ear wax discharge, because of which her full ear was dirty and it came a little below till her neck.
I have attached photos of the same, after some preliminary cleaning.
She does not have any fever and is not complaining of any pain in the ear. In the morning she let me clean the ear with a bud.
Can you pl. let me know
1. If its okay for a child of have this kind of ear discharge. We regularly gently clean her ear with a bud twice a week and she has never had this kind of thing earlier.
2. I can see some white thing inside the ear. Is it something to worry about and I should consult a doctor ASAP.
3. Can I consult a general pediatrician or I need to visit some ENT for the same.
