Question : My head has been it itching a lot and my hair has been falling out quite a bit when I shower. I've noticed it's thinning quite a bit. I've always extremely thick hair and its thinning and getting very fine. What could be causing this?

Brief Answer:
Seems to be related to hormonal changes, apply minoxidil lotion

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at HealthcareMagic
According to your complaints hair loss seems to be related to hormonal changes at your age.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to apply minoxidil 2 percent lotion on the affected areas twice daily.
The dose is 1 ml twice daily.
It needs to be continued for atleast 4-5 months to see significant results.
It needs to be a prescription drug and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.

Dr Asmeet
