Hello and welcome,

I am sorry you continue to be sick. I am thinking that adding a nasal steroid might help. You can get Flonase without prescription now at any drug store. It will decrease nasal/sinus inflammation and may help decrease the copious mucus production.

If, after you blow out the discolored stuff when you get up, after a couple hours, if the mucus is mostly clear, you likely do not need another antibiotic.

A decongestant might help too, but decongestant use can be tricky as it can dry up the secretions without getting rid of them. Ok to use it for up to 3 days.

Also, consider trying Mucinex. This is a mucolytic that helps thin the mucus so you can clear it out more easily. For the Mucinex to work, you have to drink a lot of water as the guaifenesin in it works by drawing water into the secretions to thin them out.

Saline irrigation with a Nettipot might help, but as you are having ear symptoms too, this might not be the best choice as sometimes people can feel like it draws fluid into the ears (eustachian tubes) when blowing out after the rinse. You can consider trying it, but if you do, don't use it within an hour or so of the flonase.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if I can provide further information
