Question: My son is 9 he has microcephally ADHD and epilepsy. He used to wake up every day at 4am but since beginning of August he has been extremely tired. Falling asleep in the day and even being sick. He is fine once he has slept. He is going to bed at 7pm and waking at 8 am this in itself is unusual. He is losing weight but eating well. Cold hands too I'm at a lose to know what's going on but he is even falling asleep at school please help

Excessive sleepiness and cold hands are tell tale signs of hypothyroidism. I suggest you get his thyroid status checked by doing and Free T4 and TSH levels.

As such when he's awake his hyperactivity might been looked upon as against hypothyroidism. It could be misleading.
