Question : After some mild exertion I began to sweat profusely on my forehead and on the base of my scalp at the hair line. My blood pressure is normally 70/120. What causes this?
The exertion came from unloading some things from my car. There were a few boxes and several bags. None of them were exceptionally heavy but I did make 6 or 7 trips from my garage into my house.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!
Your symptoms could be related to low blood glucose or any other metabolic disorders.
For this reason, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a careful physical exam and some tests:
- a resting ECG
- fasting glucose and HbA1C
- glucose tolerance test
- a complete blood count for anemia
- thyroid hormone levels for possible thyroid dysfunction
- kidney and liver function tests
- blood electrolytes, including calcium plasma levels for possible imbalance.
You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.
Kind regards,
Dr.Iliri
